Introduction

Paul’s background and experience before joining PACE included leadership roles in key client management, sales management, business development and training within blue chip organisations. He has spent the last twenty three years working predominantly with professional services firms, helping them grow their business through protecting and developing existing clients and through winning new clients. In addition to the UK, Paul has worked across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, the US, the Far East, Australia and the Indian Sub-Continent. Paul draws on this diverse experience to help his clients achieve their goals through the implementation of effective, practical and measurable solutions. He is regularly asked to speak at regional, national and global conferences on key client management, business development and leadership and has been a judge on numerous panels, including for the last four years, a judge for the Managing Partners Forum for the most Innovative Client Service Solution. Not only is he a presenter, a writer, a trainer, qualified coach and consultant but is also a passionate practitioner of all that PACE shares – winning clients, delighting clients and living best practice business development and key client management.

Susan combines her strong commercial and practical experience with 13 years of personal development and executive coaching work to facilitate the achievement of client goals.

This has been across the spectrum of industry including, Professional Services, IT, Banking and Finance, Telecommunications, Healthcare and Retail.

Susan works at Board and Senior Management level on a broad range of areas including: management and leadership, business development (retaining and winning clients), organisational direction and vision, culture change, individual performance and transition, career development and team coaching.

Her passion and energy to make a difference is infectious.  In addition to being an NLP Master, she is MBTI accredited and uses a range of psychometric tests along with other tools to achieve sustained change.

Introduction

John is a chartered civil engineer with 20 years’ experience in a multidisciplinary infrastructure and property consultancy. He has knowledge and technical skills to motivate professional teams, establish and develop strong client relationships, manage commercial risks and take responsibility for delivery of major projects and programmes.

Until 2011 John worked for a FTSE 100 company in which he managed cost centres and took responsibility for major projects. He has the ability to understand and address complex financial situations and has developed a leadership style that is effective in encouraging personal development, produces effective teams and improves business performance. His track record in business development includes winning new work, establishing long term client relationships, advertising for and recruiting new staff as well as implementing business improvement and sales strategies.

Introduction

Rachael is an experienced business development and marketing professional and has worked in-house for a number of organisations prior to joining PACE, including the last 15 years within the professional and business services sector. Her aim, and what motivates her in her work, is not only to share best practice BD processes and skills but also to work with clients to make sure these are applied in practice and that they have a lasting impact. She has been involved at a senior level both leading and improving BD and marketing functions and working with directors to help connect business objectives with marketing and BD strategies and plans. This has included setting up and managing key client management programmes and research projects, advising on external communications, business planning and working closely with HR on internal communications.
